Adsense Earnings Update
My last Adsense Earnings update in April was high do to an Easter site I have, I’ve been trying to maintain my Adsense earnings through backlink building. I’ve basically put all site building on hold since about March or so. If my adsense earnings keep up at this rate I should make about $600 – $650 this month.
Here’s a breakdown of my Adsense Earnings since my April update:
$501.11 – May
$468.93 – June
$547.24 – July
My Backlink Building Plan:
- Submit articles to EzineArticles. Up until a month or so ago I was submitting a few articles everyday. For the last month or so I decided to shake things up and submit to other directories too. My article directories of choice right now are -
Amazines.com – PR3 This site allows easy bulk submission. If you are spinning articles, like I am then this is a good option and can save a lot of time. Articles are approved within a few days and the backlinks are showing up in YahooSiteExplorer.
GoArticles.com - PR4 They only allow 10 article submissions per day.
IdeaMarketers.com – PR5 I like this article directory and really don’t have anything negative to say about it.
ArticleBase.com – PR6 The bummer about submitting articles to this article directory is the links are “no follow” and they only allow 25 articles submitted per day. The good thing about this article directory is my articles have been reprinted on many other sites with the my links still in the article. People using WP Robot will automatically pull articles from ArticleBase. - I am doing some intense spinning of articles using The Best Spinner. I’ll then use these spun articles to submit to the sites listed about. I’ll switch up the article titles so no article is the same. Everyday I’ve been submitting 10 articles to GoArticles, 25 to ArticleBase, and then once a week I’ll submit 100 or so articles to Amazines. I’ll submit articles sporadically to IdealMarketers, I really don’t have a set schedule with them.
- I have a little cheat sheet I’ve created for each of my sites for the authors resource links to my sites. This makes it easy for me to just copy and paste my resource box info for each article.
- If my site is less than a year old then I’ll submit an article for it maybe 2 or 3 times per week, since the majority of my sites are well over a year old, I just submit away and my sites keep moving up in the search engines, even for keywords I’m not targeting.

Yesterday I decided I’m going to continue building up my backlinks but I’m also going to be building a brand new site. I bought the domain yesterday, my goal with this site is primarily Amazon sales. I’m going to be following the Amazonian Profit Plan for building out the site.
I currently have Amazon links on a few of my sites but haven’t ever earned more than $50 in a single month. I’m hoping to bump up this to at least $100 and eventually $300 per month.
Backlinking eHow Articles:
I did some backlinking to my eHow articles with BacklinkSolutions and did see an increase in my income with eHow. I’m not sure if my backlink building was the reason for the increase or if some of my summer articles are responsible for the increase. I actually backlinked to the summer articles so really I’m not sure. I went from earning about $30 a month to $50. This month it looks like I’ll be at about $30 again. I’ve decided I will use MAS – Magic Article Submitter to building links to all my eHow articles in the next few weeks. I don’t want to waste any of my BacklinkSolutions links on eHow articles, I’ll be using my monthly allotment of BS links for my own sites. I have 55 articles at eHow so I just need to do 28 runs of MAS.
