Online Income for April 2009
My April Online Income wasn’t that great. I didn’t put that much effort into making money online so I’m actually surprised with my online earnings. I didn’t write much or even update my blogs…. not the smartest move! I was also busy with my kids, husband and did some traveling.
I also did a lot of backlink building for my main blog. I purchased Angela’s backlinks and also PJ’s backlinks. That’s 80 backlinks from high PR sites. I also did some more backlink building in a more sneaky sort of way. I use Firefox and have the addon SEO Quake. Here’s what I did. I google’d “backlinks” and the 2nd listing down is an article that Angela wrote. I opened up the article and then looked at the backlinks to that article. There are over 2,000 backlinks! I then went to the backlink sites and made my own backlinks back to my main blog. 
Building these backlinks takes a LOT OF TIME!
I ended up getting stuck in “research” mode. I purchased Market Samurai – it works with MACs! I’ve been having too much fun finding profitable keywords for both my bogs, sniper style sites and my ehow articles. As a matter of fact I have a spread sheet of all the keywords I want to use. All my keywords all have high searches and low competition. Now I just need to buckle down and get writing!

I’m going to work on building this income up. My goal is to be making at least $600 a month by the end of summer. To do this I’m going to have to buckle down.
In the beginning of March, I ordered articles packs for 3 new niche blogs from Cyberhub, when they were having their sale. It looks like their sale was a little too successful. It’s now been OVER 2 months and I’m still waiting on all the articles. I was told in an email that I would recieve two of the article packs by the end of April and the 3rd article pack by mid May. Well here it is May 3rd and I’m still waiting on all 3 packs. The packs are fairly large 30, 30, and 35 articles so I figured it would take awhile to get the articles but I had no idea it would take this long! I fired off another email to Cyberhub this morning. I’m hoping to get these articles soon. Iinstead of setting up one “authority” site per article pack, I think I’m going to set up 4 or 5 Sniper style sites. I haven’t completely made up my mind yet.
