My eHow articles have taken another hit in the recent clean up.   After eHow deleted some more articles I’m now left with 57 articles.   I sometimes question whether or not I should continue to contribute to eHow but then I’ll get a little spurt in eHow income and I remember why I do write for eHow in the first place.  One of my eHow articles earned me more than $100 in just one day.  The earnings have slowed down for this article now but still overall my income for the month is HUGE (for me).  I’ll give update totals for August at the end of the month.

I’ve been busy building backlinks for my sites and as a result my Adsense income has doubled!  I’m not really updating my sites much, in fact several of my sites haven’t been updated for months but thanks to the backlink building they are moving up in the search engines.  I’m building backlinks using Pauls backlink backage and by submitting articles to EZA.

I tried Unique Article Wizzard in July.  At first I was very impressed with the ease of use and the reports I would recieve each day showing me exactly where my articles were posted.  Upon further examination I noticed the sites my articles were appearing on weren’t the best quality.  Some seemed to be made just for UAW.  Most had PR0.  I havne’t noticed any improvement in SEO rank, infact my sites I ran with UAW seem to have fallen off the radar.  I’m not saying running UAW was a mistake but I did cancel my membership.  I’ve been told it will take some time for my sites to bounce back so I plan on giving it a month or so and if my sites come back I’ll reconsider my membership.  Meanwhile, I will be concentrating on submitting articles to EZA.

I’d also like to mention, I read about a guy that makes a lot of money online everyday and he used EZA exclusively for backlinks.  What was interesting about what I read was he doesn’t write articles on topic for his links.  In other words if he’s linking his EZA to his “gun safe” site, he’s not submitting articles to EZA about gun safes.  Instead he chooses more popular topics like weight loss and heath and writes on these topics with his “gun safe” links.  Taking this statagy, his articles end up getting published on more sites and he ended up getting even more backlinks to his gun safe site.  I hope that makes sense.

Since my last update I have been officially terminated from Ebay’s Partner Network.  I have been accused of “cookie stuffing”.  I have no idea how to stuff a cookie and to the best of my knowledge I have conformed with their TOS.  Ebay ended up keeping my earnings from the month they terminated me in addition to the month prior to being terminated.  I was stiffed at least $450!  Oh well, there really isn’t anything I can do so I’m just going to move on.  I ended up having to edit about 10 or so sites and replace the EPN ads with Amazon links.  What a pain!  I’m looking at being terminated from EPN in a positive light.  I’m being force to get off my butt and try other things that work to make money online.
